Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT) Colloquium

Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT)

Transformative teaching and student engagement

Teaching in the 21st century provides new challenges and opportunities for engaging students through interactive and collaborative learning. In this colloquium, participants in the 2016 Peer Observation and Review of Teaching (PORT) program from The University of Sydney’s Faculty of Science and School of Medical Sciences will share their approaches to creating an engaging learning space.  Additionally, the Educational Innovation team (DVC Education Portfolio) will give a live demonstration of Blackboard Collaborate so that all attendees will get to experience a virtual classroom in real-time. Join us for a two and a half hour colloquium focused on transforming teaching and student engagement. Step into the future.

When: Friday 28 October 2016, 2:00 – 4:30pm
Where: New Law School Lecture Theatre 104
