Heidi Laidler

Heidi Laidler is a designer working within the University of Sydney Library. Heidi has experience as a UX designer and front-end developer, and specialises in inclusive design. She studied a Bachelor of Design Computing at the University of Sydney. Nearing the end of her studies, Heidi began working as a UX designer at a charity which advocates for digital accessibility and inclusion through technology. Her work with the charity primarily consisted of providing universities, organisations and government departments with advise around how to make their digital experiences accessible for people with disability. This included assessing websites for issues, assisting developers to remediate issues and training designers, developers and content producers in the principals of accessibility.
