[2A3] A structured case-based groupwork to enhance online collaboration

Since the COVID-19 pandemic forced us into remote online teaching and learning, students faced various challenges to achieve full participation in online groupwork. In the Business School these are amplified by a large international cohort. In response, we designed a well-structured but highly interactive approach to successfully encourage collaboration. We use case-based groupwork and technologies to scaffold learning and maintain high participation. The key outcomes are high attendance and participation rates, students’ satisfaction and motivation to perform.
