Writing Course Learning Outcomes that strengthen quality, clarity and integrity
This 1-hour workshop provides course and program directors and coordinators with the tools to develop or revise Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) in line with AQF levels, TEQSA expectations, and the University’s assessment reform.
This workshop will allow you to:
- Write CLOs with appropriate language, using AQFâaligned knowledge, skills, and application statements for courses at every level
- Write CLOs for all exit points for embedded degrees, such as Grad Cert and Grad Dip within Masters degrees
- Understand how CLOs are assured within the Sydney Assessment Framework and map them into compliant assessment plans
- Write CLOs and assessment plans for USC and GSC approval and publication in the Handbook
- (Optionally) Use our new Cogniti tool to assist with these processes.
