Introduction to Universal Design for Learning (UDL)

Time: 2:00 PM - 3:30PM  

Join us for a 90-minute workshop where we introduce you to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework. UDL seeks to create environments where "all learners can access and participate in meaningful, challenging learning opportunities." CAST 2024 

During this workshop, you will explore the structure and research behind the UDL guidelines, learn the language of UDL, and develop an understanding that UDL is a lens not a list.  

This workshop is for anyone who would like to better understand UDL, creating more inclusive environments for all in your work or beyond. It can be standalone or complementary to the “Apply UDL to design for diversity workshop” which focuses on UDL implementation in educational practice.
