This workshop supports educators to develop their understanding of the University of Sydney Assessment Framework and how it shapes assessment design in practice. Participants will explore principles of clear and equitable assessment design, including transparency, authentic task design, and student access. Through analysis of an example multi-part open assessment, educators will unpack how learning outcomes, tasks, and criteria align. The session provides structured time to draft or redesign an open assessment for their own unit, with participants leaving with a practical assessment outline ready for implementation in Canvas.
