She is a core member of theCentre for Artificial Intelligence, Trust, and Governance.\r\nDr Yang\u2019s research lies at the intersection of teacher education and language education, with two interrelated strands. The first investigates the complex relationship between teachers\u2019 emotions, agency, and knowledge building. This work has led to the development of an integrated conceptual framework that connects agency, knowledge, and emotions in teacher professional learning. The second strand of her research focuses on digital innovation in education. Dr Yang adopts a technology-supported formative intervention design to enhance students\u2019 transformative agency in expansive learning environments.
