Following a successful pilot<\/a>, the University of Sydney has become a Strategic Partner of the Higher Education Academy<\/a> (HEA). The University\u00a0is now working towards accreditation of some of its professional learning programs – if successful, these can be offered from February 2018.<\/p>\n

If you wish to apply for Fellowship of the HEA, the application fee is half price for all University of Sydney staff, academic and professional. Or you may prefer to wait until 2018, when we are likely to have some funded places available. Staff are also able to access\u00a0discounts for HEA\u00a0events and staff development opportunities. Some of these events are based in the UK, such as the Academic Leadership Programme<\/a>, a one week intensive which is now available with a \u00a3900 saving.
