The program offers funding of up to $12000 and up to $35000 depending on the project size and scope. Since its introduction in 2014, the program has funded a wide variety of highly successful initiatives in <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/content\/dam\/intranet\/documents\/teaching-support\/strategic-education-grants\/2017-strategic-education-grants.pdf\">2017<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/content\/dam\/intranet\/documents\/teaching-support\/strategic-education-grants\/2016-strategic-education-grants.pdf\">2016<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/content\/dam\/intranet\/documents\/teaching-support\/strategic-education-grants\/2015-educational-innovation-grants.pdf\">2015<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/content\/dam\/intranet\/documents\/teaching-support\/strategic-education-grants\/2014-educational-innovation-grants.pdf\">2014<\/a> across the institution in undergraduate, postgraduate and open online courses.<\/p>\n<p>The current round covers the <em>whole<\/em> of 2018. Alongside supporting projects for educational innovation, the program also provides funding for the development of key parts of the transformed curriculum. Funding is available for 5 types of initiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/teaching-support\/awards-grants\/strategic-education-grants.html#eduinnov\" target=\"_blank\"><u>Educational Innovation<\/u><\/a><\/li>\n<li><u><a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/teaching-support\/awards-grants\/strategic-education-grants.html#ole\" target=\"_blank\">Open Learning Environment units<\/a><\/u><\/li>\n<li><u><a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/teaching-support\/awards-grants\/strategic-education-grants.html#research\" target=\"_blank\">Sydney Research Seminars<\/a><\/u><\/li>\n<li><u><a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/teaching-support\/awards-grants\/strategic-education-grants.html#pbu\" target=\"_blank\">Project-Based units<\/a><\/u><\/li>\n<li><a class=\"usyd-js-load\" href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/teaching-support\/awards-grants\/strategic-education-grants.html#iec\">International Educational Collaborations<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Staff who are planning to submit an application are invited to this workshop on <strong>24th July from 10-11.30 in Chemistry Lecture 3<\/strong> which will be presented by Professor Pip Pattison, DVC (Education), and Professor Adam Bridgeman, Director of Educational Innovation.
