The Education Portfolio and partners invite staff and students\u00a0to engage with our educational\u00a0innovators through a range of formal and informal events across the week:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Monday 24th October: <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-can-data-help-better-understand-support-learners\/\" target=\"_blank\">Can data help me better understand and support learners?<\/a> (1-5pm).<\/strong><br \/>\nEducational Innovation and the Centre for Research on Learning and Innovation\u00a0invite you to this hands-on\u00a0workshop on using data to support learning and learners.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 25th October: <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-barefoot-innovation-tuesday-25th-october\/\">Barefoot Innovation<\/a>\u00a0(all day).<\/strong><br \/>\nDrop by the big screen on the grass outside the Law School for\u00a0exercise for the body and mind, including a chance to engage with our health MOOCs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tuesday 25th October:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/intranet.sydney.edu.au\/careers-training\/vice-chancellors-awards-for-excellence.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Vice Chancellor&#8217;s Awards for Excellence<\/strong><\/a> (4-5pm).<br \/>\nThese awards recognise\u00a0exceptional performance at the University including\u00a0outstanding and innovative\u00a0teaching, educational leadership\u00a0and student support by academic and professional staff.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 26th October: <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-future-ed-event-wednesday-26th-october-12-3pm\/\" target=\"_blank\">Future Ed<\/a>\u00a0(12-3pm).<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Library, Educational Innovation and ICT invite staff and students to drop-in to ThinkSpace and explore, create, and discuss the future of education and how new technologies might be\u00a0part of this.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wednesday 26th October:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-student-innovation-challenge-creating-future-health\/\" target=\"_blank\">Student Innovation Challenge \u2013 Creating The Future Of Health<\/a>\u00a0(final pitch).<\/strong><br \/>\nDo you have an idea that will lead Australia into the future of health? Kickstart your vision of a healthy future through the challenge which culminates in the final pitches on Wednesday of Innovation Week. Or come and watch the practice pitches during Tuesday&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-innovation-lawn-tuesday-25th-october\/\" target=\"_blank\">Innovation on the Lawn<\/a> event.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Thursday 27th October: <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/teaching@sydney\/innovation-week-2016-teaching-colloquium-experiments-learning-teaching\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sydney Teaching Colloquium &#8211; Experiments in Learning and Teaching<\/a> (1-4pm).<\/strong><br \/>\nHear from\u00a0colleagues from around the University about\u00a0their innovative teaching practices.
