Do we mean:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>students&#8217; engagement with their studies<\/li>\n<li>students&#8217; engagement with their campus learning environment<\/li>\n<li>students&#8217; engagement in quality assurance<\/li>\n<li>engaging students with teaching improvement and enhancement<\/li>\n<li>student engagement with teaching <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"practice\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">practice<\/span><\/li>\n<li>student engagement with research (e.g., with the latest research, in research communities, as researchers)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition, <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Gibbs\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Gibbs<\/span> points to a very interesting literature review on student engagement conducted by the Higher Education Academy in the UK.<\/p>\n<p><em>Graham <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Gibbs\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Gibbs<\/span> is one of the UK&#8217;s most well known advocates of improving university learning and teaching.
