If you are an educator at the University of Sydney looking seeking fellowship recognition it is not too late to submit an application for consideration this year. The deadline for Round 2 of 2023 is 30th October.<\/p>\n
As part of this the Sydney Educational Fellowship Program<\/a>\u00a0(SEFP) has released workshops to support staff in evidencing their educational practice as part of a successful claim for one of the following categories of fellowship that recognise different contributions, roles and career stages: Associate Fellowship (AFHEA), Fellowship (FHEA), Senior Fellowship (SFHEA) and Principal Fellowship (PFHEA)*.<\/p>\n This program is available to all Sydney educators, independent of contract type and is a valuable part of career development and planning. As\u00a0AHE celebrates reaching over 150,000+ fellows worldwide<\/a>\u00a0fellowship provides international standards-based recognition for educators. This judgement is made by a panel of accredited peer-reviewers to the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF)<\/a> and lends visibility, externality and rigor to the complex work involved in teaching and learning in universities. In seeking recognition educators can articulate the breadth and depth of complex work that makes up higher education. Fellowships are assessed by an accredited panel of peer reviewers who work to a global standard, this makes fellowships a concrete piece of evidence to include in future job and promotion applications.<\/p>\n In addition to the online resources available on the SEFP Canvas site\u00a0<\/a>\u00a0the SEFP offers a series of workshops designed to support you in the writing process. In order to submit an application for panel assessment and consideration you must have recorded attendance at one of these workshops either this year or in previous.
