To gain access to the booth, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/qa\/events\/\">Register to complete or attend an orientation session<\/a>. You may complete an online orientation session (Canvas module you can do at your own pace) OR attend a 1.5-hour face-to-face session in the Booth. <strong>Opportunities for face-to-face sessions will be advertised on the <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/ei-events\">EI events page<\/a> from late May 2023.<\/strong> These sessions will be run a few times each month and will be limited to three people per session.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have completed or attended an orientation session, you will be given swipe card access. This may take up to a week to process.<\/li>\n<li>After you have completed or attended an orientation session and have swipe card access, you are free to book the booth in 1-2 hour slots.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>More details on the booking process will be outlined in the orientation sessions and after you have gained security access to the space.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-AU\" xml:lang=\"EN-AU\" data-contrast=\"none\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">The DIY Recording Booth <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">operates<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\"> under a do-it-yourself model. This means that we want staff to be empowered to make <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">media <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">themselves, and minimal support is <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">p<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">rovided beyond <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">initial<\/span> <span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\">orientation<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW49847057 BCX0\"> with the equipment.
