In 2015, Dr Elizabeth New received an Early Career Teaching Excellence Award and the Peer Assisted Learning Programme from the Central Medical School, Dr Annette Burgess, Associate Professor Kirsten Black, Associate Professor <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Renata\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Renata<\/span> Chapman, Professor Craig <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Mellis\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Mellis<\/span> and Associate Professor Chris Roberts, received an Award in the category <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/news\/news.cfm?item=1046\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/news\/news.cfm?item=1046\"><span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Programs\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Programs<\/span> that Enhance Learning<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you have already received acknowledgment for the quality of your teaching or the quality of program designed to enhance student learning from your Faculty, you should consider an application to the OLT awards. <strong>Two workshops <\/strong>will be held in early May to outline what\u2019s required to apply for nomination by the University. Both workshops will also help you to consider what makes an application nationally competitive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>10 May 2016:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/events\/OLT%20Awards%20Workshop\/601\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/events\/OLT%20Awards%20Workshop\/601\/\">Workshop: OLT Awards for Teaching Excellence<\/a><br \/>\n<strong>13 May 2016:<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/events\/OLT%20Awards%20Workshop\/602\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-cke-saved-href=\"http:\/\/sydney.edu.au\/education-portfolio\/ei\/events\/OLT%20Awards%20Workshop\/602\/\">Workshop: OLT Awards for <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Programs\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">Programs<\/span> that Enhance Learning<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Applications for both awards are due on Tuesday <span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"31st\" data-scayt-lang=\"en_GB\">31st<\/span> May.
